Hey, I’m Marisa!  I’m going to be direct (and slightly cheesy) when I say, smiles are my passion.  Dentistry has to be one of the coolest professions on the planet as it is directly related to both one’s physical and psychological wellbeing and it doesn’t get near the hype it deserves!  I founded Thrive because I genuinely enjoy developing staff to show them their true potential.  I find it extremely rewarding to support practice growth and get them to that next level so they can deliver high-quality, valued dentistry to their patients (and get paid for it too).  With 15 years in the industry, it’s not a matter of “if”, it’s just a matter of “when” we will get there together.

Consultants, coaches, mentors, support, therapists, cheerleaders…call us whatever you’d like because we will step into any role you need in order to get results.  We are a different kind of outfit.  We center closely on the human element, the bones that make up a practice, to determine a course of action.  New systems and protocols will undoubtedly fizzle over time if you don’t find out what makes people tick and what gets them excited from the very beginning.  Our primary focus is with private practice, new grads and especially pediatric dentists.  I personally have a big soft spot in my heart for the kiddos!  I got my start back in 2006 with a pediatric specialist and have since acquired multiple certifications, assisted chair-side, piled on a ton of CE throughout the years and eventually moved into management.  I decided that was a good time to complete a B.S. Degree in Technical Management: Health Services Management with DeVry University.

I then made a career move because I was given an amazing opportunity with a group practice who had multiple regional locations.  This opportunity showed me a completely different side of the industry and allowed me to develop my leadership and my team in an awesome environment.  How fortunate I was to have worked side-by-side with some outstanding professionals while crushing goals and setting the standard for outstanding dentistry.

Now, I want to deliver the tools for potential to any professional seeking out the piece of the puzzle they’re missing.  Dental school can mold a great dentist but very rarely show them how to navigate the business aspect and this part is crucial for not only survival but on-going success!  I’m excited to brainstorm and map out the possibilities with you!

“I started my dental career in 2007 and since then I always knew I’d be a part of this incredible industry and all its potential. Working in general dentistry taught me a great deal in every facet of private practice. It allowed me to be cross-trained from front to back and I found that opportunity to be very valuable. I transitioned into pediatric dentistry in 2014 and expanded my knowledge even greater with an incredibly supportive team. When you know more, you grow more, right? If I had to outline my strengths and what I bring to the table, they would be:

1. Organization Skills
2. Systems
3. Phone Etiquette and Verbiage
4. Computer Software and Hardware Maintenance
5. Positive and Supportive Attitude

I’m ready to put my ‘can-do’ to work for you and get stuff done!”
